| Compound voiced katakana And finally we have the voiced equivalents of the compound katakana. These form voiced / unvoiced pairs in much the same way as the basic katakana we saw earlier. Just as ga is ka plus two small dashes, gya is kya plus two small dashes. Simple, really.
